Kate Tummelson

Kate Tummelson is a long-time ensemble member at The Artistic Home, where she can be seen this spring as Laura in Tea & Sympathy.  Kate has appeared in the AH mainstage productions of Look Homeward, Angel; Clash by Night; Peer Gynt; Three by Synge; Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (Jeff nomination for Best Ensemble); After the Fall; and Orpheus Descending, as well as several Studio and workshop projects.  Elsewhere in Chicago, she has been seen in The Copperhead (CityLit), Chekhov’s The Seagull (GroundUp), and Intrigue with Faye (InFusion).  Film credits include an old-school sci-fi short called Tennessee Waltz, which screened at the Chicago Underground Film Festival in 2010.  Kate earned her Bachelor's degree in Theatre at Knox College.
