Luis Crespo

Picture
LUIS CRESPO was recently seen as Maumau in the Jeff-Recommended Modigliani. Luis has been an ensemble member since 2002 and has had the pleasure of training, performing and becoming a part of the Artistic Home familia. Since then he has directed a one act and late night production at the Home, while keeping himself busy in the daylight hours working primarily with teenagers on developing and performing Theater, most notably with the Association House of Chicago. He has also been involved with organizations such as Young Chicago Authors and Freestreet Theater doing similar work.

Luis is a Columbia College of Chicago alum who also works as an independent artist in grammar and High schools teaching theater, creative writing and craft making through Columbia’s wonderful AIM program. He enjoys bellowing in his band, Egregor, and can consume the sugar like no other. His most recent shin-digs include, Natural Affection (understudy), Street Scene, Plasticene's The Perimiter, Peer Gynt (mask maker: The Hog, the bird and the Horse), Don’t Tell Us We’re Here, Fur, The Madwoman of Chaillot, The Petrified Forest and Cop Out. Luis also produced the 7th Annual Cut to the Chase.
