NO STOPPING, NO WARPING, NO DYING

A tale of best friends bound throughout their lives by a mutual obsession with Super Mario Brothers, two children of the Eighties build a friendship around the games they play while together weathering family challenges and rites of passage. After a falling-out in college, they come back together as adults to navigate even greater challenges, while never losing their love of the game or each other.
This 55-minute play explores themes of family, love, loss, and wonder through the lens of the most popular video game of all time.  Director Peter Connor evokes psychologically realistic performances from veteran Chicago actors Michael Carey and Kevin D'Ambrosio.  In writer Ed Krystosek's inventive new work, high and low comedy abound, spiced with a dash of heartbreak in a tale that ultimately uplifts and inspires.
