ON CAMERA CLASSES at Artistic Home

The Artistic Home has established itself as one of the most unique and comprehensive On Camera programs in the midwest.  Acclaimed actor and instructor Dan Flannery and film director/actor John Mossman present a unique, dynamic combination of professional expertise, practical knowledge and proven teaching technique to the classroom.  Whether a beginner or a seasoned pro, we have a class for the actor interested in television and film.

ACTING FOR TV and FILM

Dan Flannery's TV&FILM class introduces performance techniques for the camera and other basics for those with limited or no experience in film and television work. Whether you've just become an actor or have studied and worked extensively on stage, Dan's insight and coaching will build the skills you need to pursue on-camera opportunities.  Every student will work in front of the camera in each class.

ON CAMERA SCENE STUDY

This scene study class set in front of a camera is geared for the actor who yearns to work quickly and comfortably while learning techniques specific to the screen. Taught by award-winning feature filmmaker and stage director John Mossman, the class is uniquely positioned to help serious actors create a strong bridge between their stage work and great work in front of the camera.
$300    Tuesdays 8-11 pm   May 7- July 2  8 weeks ( no class June 25)

MEISNER FOR FILM

Filmmaker John Mossman translates the technique for film work. On-camera improvisational work within script and advanced text work are the focus of this intense four week class. Scenes will be filmed and edited.
