The Artistic Home

"Working with The Artistic Home has definitely changed my approach to acting--how to create a character with truth and sincerity, what essential questions to ask regarding my character's history and circumstances, and how to truly connect with my scene partner with clear, strong 'needs' and intentions. Taking classes at the Artistic Home has challenged me and made me a better actress, and honestly, I can't wait to take more."  Kristin Anderson, Actress

CAREER NUTS AND BOLTS WORKSHOP

So you wanna be an actor or you are an actor but feel lost in the shuffle of what do I do, how to do it, and what's this biz all about? FEAR NO MORE. This four hour workshop details each and every nut and bolt involved as you transition from side line actor to working actor. Crucial information about Agents, Casting Directors, your Actor's 'toolbox' and auditions. Designed to instill confidence and direction; this workshop is a must for any actor with a million questions. Taught by Meisner trained working actor Madrid St. Angelo, you will get a bird's eye view into the biz, unlike any workshop you've attended before. Walk out with a sure fire 'plan of attack' for your future; be it on stage or in front of the camera.
1-5pm Sun. 1/13    $75/$50 for Artistic Home Studio actors.
