Laura Coleman
(She, Her)

 Laura became a founding member of the Artistic Home Ensemble in 1999.  She played Meredith in the Jeff Nominated Ensemble (Equity Wing) of Five Women Wearing the Same Dress.  She appeared in Orpheus Descending as The Woman and enjoyed an understudy performance as Carol Cutrere.  She also appeared as  Felice in After the Fall, and performed in the very first Cut to the Chase.   In 2005, she struck out on her own working with many companies around Chicago.  She was a company member with New Millennium Theater where she wrote the hit Crazy For Swayze! A Swazical. She was also a founding member of The Flaming Dames, Chicago’s Premier Burlesque Troupe. Other Favorite roles include Janet in Hell in a Handbag's hit Miracle!, Lenny in Crimes of the Heart with Oil Lamp Theater, Beth in Dinner with Friends with Oil Lamp Theater, and Linda in Hey! Dancin’! Hey! Musical! at the Factory Theater.  They say that all roads point Home…and she’s extremely happy to be back here.
