A Touch of the Poet

Written by Eugene O’Neill
Directed by Kathy Scambiatterra

In this rarely-produced work, O’Neill unravels a tale of one Irish-American family’s heartbreak and hope by examining the delusions and dreams every person clings to in order to meet the face in the mirror. On the anniversary of his crowning achievement, patriarch Con Melody's whiskey-fueled reminisces and never-ending chase of The American Dream come to a boiling point when challenged by an ambitious, love-struck daughter, a devoted, broken wife and unrelenting Yankee prejudice.

Featuring: Elizabeth Argus, Vic Doylida, Frank Nall, Katherine Swan, Sally Eames, Kevin D’Ambrosio, Larry Garner, Kevin Gladish, Jimmy Ronan and Joe Wiens.
