Script to Screen
A collaborative cross-disciplinary class designed to empower filmmakers new and old to write, polish and - along with guest actors - craft compelling stories written for the screen. This class will provide a fertile environment for both the actor with little film experience interested in writing, directing, or producing films and the filmmaker interested in honing their ability to write for and work with actors.
Whether a seasoned filmmaker or budding auteur, students will gain experience working with actors, exploring the differences and similarities between writing for film and theater, gaining a sense of greater autonomy, empowered to take their cinematic aspirations to the next level.
*This class will not be held at our studio space. It will be held at 1700 West Irving Park Road, Suite 203 Chicago, IL 60613.

Our Meisner-based series is designed to be taken in order from Tech 1 - Tech 4. Tech 1 requires a quick application followed by a phone interview prior to registration. After each class session students receive a private evaluation with the instructors. To receive the full benefits and artistic growth of these classes we request that all students take the series in order. After you have completed all 4 classes you are welcome to return to any class when you feel you need a brush-up.
